WINES

Our wines are the result of Vale da Grama, the passage of time and meticulous work of our people. We are obsessed with details, unwavering in our commitment to quality.

We grow our most cherished grapevine varieties. Cabernet Franc thrives in the heights, nestled around 1050 meters above sea level, next to the native woodland and the granite cliffs. Just below, on more organic, clay-rich soil, lies our Merlot, a source of pride and evidence of the enchantment of Vale da Grama. Cabernet Sauvignon finds its home in two distinct spots of our estate, resulting in a fascinating interplay of soils and sun exposure. Amidst rocky grounds, we nurture Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

No miracle, but rather science and learning. We manage each vineyard plot individually, comparing year to year across the seasons, the progress of each plant and the soil beneath. The terroir playing its role; insects, rain, and wind conspiring. In the winemaking process, carried out in concrete and stainless-steel tanks, intervention is kept to a minimum, allowing selected yeasts to carry out their tasks. Subsequently, our wine rests in French oak barrels, predominantly of first usage.

We have two labels, Casa Tés and Grama. The concept is for them to tread independent paths, year by year, at each harvest, writing their own stories.
